Abusing his cat? I would rather consider that he is sharing his cat's cuteness with us. You know, sharing something with us that he thinks is worth sharing. Actually, I think that is a good description of Youtube's purpose. And I don't think the cat suffered 'that' much in the making of this video.

I've seen some stupid stuff on the internet and this is probably the worst. You're abusing your cat to cash in on a fad that's fading out to begin with. If they were clever/funny captions, that would be one thing. However, you've missed the point completely. I don't know how you sleep at night.
