I think this song would be better without the second verse (the one describing macavity's appearance saying how ugly he was). Then it would seem like its bunch of girl cats with secret hots for macavity. There's even a sort of climax at the end ha

i dont know about you guys but i think it would be cool if they had like an actual play version of cats. i love the musical alot. but it would be cool if they talked about their pasts and stuff, and showed the romances, who's related to who, stuff like that. i dont know, what do you all think?(please tell me) i want to know how these two know so much about macavity. bombalurina did say she played crads with him.

Well, Demeter had a run in with Macavity at some point which would explain why she seems to always know when he's near. Also her mate happens to be Munkustrap which is pretty obvious throughout most of the movie.Bombalurina, on the other hand, is the flirtacous one. She flirts a lot with Rum Tum Tugger and the young Pouncival. There are many parts were she gets very close with both of the toms.But both of them had to have been around Macavity at some point in time to know so much about him.
